    JAAR Gala Ball

    7:00 pm

    Pomme D'Or Hotel

    JAAR-BALL-INVITE (A4)

Live Music from Jersey born Giles Robson & The Dirty Aces - Giles is one of the world's Great Living Harmonica Players.

When Great harmonica players Sugar Blue and Paul Jones describe Giles Robson as one of the great living blues harmonica players you know he's bound to be a bit special. His award winning harmonica skill and distinct vocals has seen him grace international stages from sell out shows in St Petersburg and Moscow In Russia to London, France, Belgium, Holland, Scotland, Italy, Switzerland.

Expect jaws to drop and the dance floor to fill as the audience experience Robson's huge technical virtuosity and massive soulful range. There have been many superlative filled reviews of Robson at work live on stage however we will leave it to a stunned journalist from the Shetland Times - who witnessed Robson play at the island's blues festival, the most northerly blues festival in the UK to sum up Robson's impact most succinctly.

"Staggering, inspired, It was Robson who deservedly stole the limelight. I doubt if Shetland has ever seen a more talented harmonica player. Whether in powerhouse mode or more subdued,he revealed why he is rated one of the best in the world".

A unique and world class talent - Robson leaves any audience spellbound and in need of more and is proving to be an incredibly essential and ever popular booking.

    Press Quotes:

"Britain's Harmonica Hero" Classic Rock Blues Magazine

"A phenomenal talent.... Robson is leading the way in both popularizing the harmonica for the young generation and satisfying established blues fans who just love to hear a harp maestro at the top of his game". Blues Matters Magazine

"Giles Robson's blues harp can only be described as exquisite. This man could well be the best harmonica player on he blues scene today" The Daily Express

the harmonica playing of Giles Robson is unique and carries the man in the ranks of
the best harmonica players on the planet". Music In Belgium. Belgium

"They are many living harmonica players of note, from Stevie Wonder to Giles Robson and back again" Paul Jones, BBC Radio 2

“AN ASCENDING STAR OF HIS INSTRUMENT... HIS CREATIVITY KNOWS NO BOUNDS... NOTHING SHORT OF AWESOME” Legendary Clapton/Bowie producer Mike Vernon
