My Journey has been a painful experience, but with the help of my counsellor I felt safe and comfortable to open up and I felt very supported by my Counsellor. She gave me lots of praise. My Counsellor also helped me to see a future again. I feel a lot stronger and able to move forward. I couldn’t have had a better counsellor and I felt she understood me, felt my pain.. and happiness at the end of my journey.

I’ve been lucky enough to use the invaluable help that JAAR provides. From a simple phone call to one to one counselling they took me from being a lost soul to being a stronger and more resilient person. The process is gentle but works and suddenly you find yourself living a life rather than reliving a hell. I hope more people who’ve been abused will use this life saving service.
