Jersey Action Against Rape is pleased to announce that Ms Tracey Le Brocq (former Senator Vallois) has been appointed as their first Chief Executive Officer.
Established in 2015 by the McIntosh family, Jersey Action Against Rape supports survivors of rape and sexual abuse in the Island. Due to the growing demand for the counselling services that the Charity provides, it has been necessary to appoint a CEO in order to expand to meet those demands.
Ms Le Brocq joins JAAR following almost 14 years as a States Member. Her wide range of skills and passion for helping the community have made Ms Le Brocq the perfect addition to the Charity.
“I am honoured to join the team at JAAR and look forward to bringing my skill set and vision for the growth of the charity to the fore in the coming months and years” said Ms. Le Brocq. “Making a difference in the community in which we live has always been at the forefront of my life and this very important charity is the perfect way for me to bring my experiences as a States Member as well as my experiences in the financial sector into the community at a very real level.”
Sara McIntosh, Chairperson of JAAR said “We are delighted to have Tracey on board. Her passion for the charity together with her interests in the Law and project management have made her the perfect fit for JAAR.”
