At Jersey Action Against Rape, we are dedicated to providing vital support and advocacy for survivors of sexual trauma across our community. Our mission is to empower individuals affected by sexual violence through compassionate counselling services, educational programs, and proactive outreach initiatives.
Campaign Overview: Empowering Voices
We are excited to launch our latest initiative, “Breakthrough Voices,” a campaign aimed at raising awareness about sexual trauma and the resources available to survivors in Jersey. This campaign was made possible through generous funding from the Jersey Community Foundation with funds from Kezia’s Fund, which enabled us to develop impactful digital and print marketing materials to reach our community effectively.
How We Created This Campaign
With support from the Jersey Community Foundation, we embarked on a journey to amplify the voices of survivors and educate the public about the prevalence of sexual trauma among young people aged 16-18. The campaign includes compelling video content that captures the experiences of survivor and highlights the compassionate support provided by our dedicated counselors.
Our Approach
Through collaboration with a US Creatives marketing agency, we ensured that our campaign materials are not only informative but also sensitive to the needs of survivors. We conducted focus groups with local educational institutions such as Jersey College for Girls and Highlands College to gather insights and feedback from young people themselves, ensuring that our messaging resonates authentically with our target audience.
