Soroptimist International Jersey (SIJ) are delighted to announce that the Zumba Glow charity event is returning to Jersey again for the 7th year.
This year’s event is once more kindly supported by Jersey Freemasons and will benefit Freeda and Jersey Action Against Rape (JAAR).
Motion Z Zumba Glow will be led by renowned instructor Claudia, with Betty, Hannah, Olga and Sam assisting. Everyone is encouraged to dress joyfully and vibrantly. Wear neon and white if you want to shine bright!
This community event takes place on Saturday 25th January 2025, 14:00 – 15:30, at Le Rocquier School. All ages are welcome and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Graham Spence, Head of Jersey Freemasons, says “Jersey Freemasons are thrilled to sponsor this brilliant event once again and provide our support to charities which work hard to ensure women’s rights in Jersey are protected. We hope everyone has a great time at the event.”
Freeda says, ‘We love this event. We see people of all ages coming to Zumba with us. At our event last year we had children as young as four dancing away for the whole event. It so important that we are encouraged to love ourselves from such a young age. We are once again grateful to the Jersey Freemasons for their support.’
JAAR says, ‘We are thrilled to once again be partnering with the Soroptimists and JWR, raising money for our important causes, whilst having lots of fun with family and friends! A big thank you to the Jersey Freemans for their continued support of this awesome event. We can’t wait to get our glow on!’
Parking is limited to 60 cars, but there is a car park close by next to St Clement Parish Hall.
All ages are welcome and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Adult Ticket Price – £10
Child Ticket Price – £5
Don’t forget to bring your water bottles!
Tickets can be purchased online until 10am on Friday 24th January 2025, after which tickets will be available in person on the door at the event.
