THANK YOU for supporting Jersey Action Against Rape, we are here to help prevent and heal the trauma of rape and sexual assault and fundraising is vital to our mission.
The level of sexual assault crimes increased by over 8% in Jersey in 2019. Since JAAR launched in 2015 we have provided over 2400 hours of FREE and highly specialised counselling to Jersey people who have been affected by Rape and Sexual Assault.
Here at JAAR we have a dedicated helpline, website and onsite counselling with access to qualified and specially trained counsellors and psychotherapists. JAAR is working hard to prevent the incidence of rape and sexual assault, dispelling the myths surrounding rape and promoting progressive thinking towards survivors of rape and sexual abuse.
But we can’t do it without the hard work of our fundraisers.
We all have the power to make change!
To make sure your fundraising efforts raise as many donations as possible, you need to let people know about your event or activity.
You can set up your own page on JustGiving, nominate Jersey Action Against Rape as your charity, and then share the link among your friends, family and colleagues. You can also share it on social media.
If you contact us through Facebook or Fundraising@jaar.je with the link, we’ll happily help you publicise it too. Don’t forget to follow us on social media and tag us in any posts you’d like us to share.
You can also email us at email@example.com if you’d like us to send you a template sponsorship form for you to use in person with your friends, family, at work etc.
If you are thinking of fundraising for Jersey Action Against Rape, please get in contact! we are always happy to talk through ideas, promote events and send leaflets. Contact our fundraising team on firstname.lastname@example.org
